God, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit: we believe God exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each one equally divine, eternal and almighty We believe that God created all things through the agency of the Son, as stated in Hebrews 1:1-4, and elsewhere in the New Testament.
The Bible and its use: we believe that the Bible is God's Word written, with God being the ultimate author, speaking through human agents. We believe the Bible is given to teach us the truth about God and humanity, and to reveal how God wants us to live. We believe every believer can understand the plain meaning of the Scripture, as the Holy Spirit reveals that meaning and that every believer is responsible to read the Bible for that purpose.
Salvation and Heaven: we believe that salvation is attained through belief in the atoning blood of Jesus Christ by His death, burial and resurrection. We believe that each person must see themselves as a sinner, repent of their sin, and accept Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. We believe that Heaven can only be attained by this profession of faith.
Believer's Baptism, Lord's Supper: we believe in the faithful observance of these two ordinances which the Lord set in place for the church. Baptism by immersion unites the believer to Christ and His church, being the outward and public sign of an inner and personal faith. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated each month, as a meal open to all believers, not just members of this congregation. In this meal, we recognize and affirm the living presence of Christ among His people.
Soul liberty: we believe each soul (person) is responsible to God for their own actions, decision, and faith development. Each soul is free to obey or not; follow or not; believe or not. We believe that soul freedom doesn’t set us free to live as we please, but liberates us from sin to serve God.
